Cocktail style or seated for a 30th?
Most 30ths we set up are cocktail style — guests standing, a few perches and lounge spots, and a dance floor. As a rule of thumb, provide seating for about a third of guests. If you want a sit-down dinner first, we can split the space into dining then dancing.
How big should the dance floor be?
Allow roughly a quarter of your guests dancing at once at about 0.5 sqm each. For 60 guests, 12 sqm is comfortable; for 100, go to 20 sqm. We'll size it in your quote.
Can you do a rooftop or apartment 30th?
Often, yes. Rooftops and apartment common areas usually need building management sign-off and a booked lift for load-in. Send us the building rules and we'll plan delivery around them.
Do you supply a DJ or sound system?
Not from our own stock — DJs, PA and sound are arranged via our partner network so it's all in one quote. Mention it in your enquiry.
What about noise and neighbours?
We set up and pack down quietly and can schedule collection for the next morning rather than late at night. Local council noise rules still apply to the party itself.
How far ahead should I book?
For Friday and Saturday nights between October and April, 6–8 weeks gives you the best choice of dance floor sizes and lighting. Off-season and mid-week 30ths can often be done at shorter notice.
