The race that stops the nation. And the party that celebrates it.
Corporate long lunches, ladies' luncheons, backyard punter parties, marquee-side sundowners. Cocktail furniture, bar setups, big-screen viewing kit and glassware. First Tuesday in November — our single biggest hire day of the year.
One day, one race, one shot at getting it right.
Cup Day is different from any other party day. Everyone wants their setup live before 11am. We're the ones who actually get there.
8–10am delivery windows we hit
Cup Day setups have to be race-ready by lunch. Our early-morning delivery slots are among our most competed-for — book by August or September to lock one in.
Big-screen viewing setups
TVs, projector-and-screen combos, PA for the announcer. So the race actually gets watched, not just used as background noise for a lunch.
Fashion-on-the-lawn styling
For ladies' luncheons and marquee parties: styled cocktail tables, floral centrepieces, festoon lighting — the whole Flemington-adjacent vibe without the crowds or the Uber home.

Melbourne Cup Party Hire — the questions we hear most.
Cup Day is a public holiday in Victoria — do you deliver?
Yes — Cup Day is our biggest single delivery day of the year. Public holiday rates don't apply; we quote the same standard rates. Book early to secure your morning delivery slot.
Do you supply big-screen TVs for watching the race?
Yes — TVs, projector-and-screen combos, and PA setups so the race caller actually gets heard. Popular add-on for both corporate lunches and backyard parties.
How early can you deliver on Cup Day?
From 7am for most metro areas. Race is at 3pm so most parties want to be race-ready by 11am — plenty of buffer built in. Tell us your event timing and we'll plan around it.
Do you cater ladies' luncheons?
We supply the setup — tables, chairs, glassware, styling, marquee, bar — not the food. Bring in your favourite caterer and we'll coordinate delivery to fit their bump-in schedule.
How far in advance should I book?
For Cup Day specifically: August or September for prime early-morning delivery slots and stock of high-demand items. September–October is still workable but harder to lock in the best delivery windows. Same-week bookings for Cup Day are usually impossible.
What if it's raining on the day?
Marquees are waterproof, sidewalls available on request. Cup Day rain is a rite of passage anyway — we're set up for it.
Cup Day is the stuff of legend. Your setup should be too.
One tailored quote by tomorrow. Delivery, setup, pack-down included. The one day of the year every hire company is stretched — book early to be part of the plan.
